Food drive sponsored by 4-H & Cub Scouts

April 22, 2012
Reinbeck Courier

The local Blackhawk-Nighthawks 4-H club and the Reinbeck Cub Scouts are teaming up to host a food drive for Reinbeck Food Bank. Beginning Sunday, April 15 through Sunday April 29, there will be food boxes at several locations in Reinbeck including the New Life Assembly Church, United Methodist Church, the Reinbeck Library, Reinbeck City Hall and Trunck's Country Food store.

The Food Bank is currently in need of canned meat, canned soup, paper towels, toilet paper, hot and/or cold cereal, jello, bottles of shampoo, and soap. At this time, the food bank does not need canned vegetables or canned fruit.

Individuals or groups that would like to donate may do so at one of boxes. If you would like to donate, but are unable to drop off your donations at one of the locations, you can arrange a pick up by calling Malissa Martin at 319-345-2224 or Kate Schildroth at 319-345-2050.
