Gladbrook Reinbeck's National Honor Society has been busy over the past month! The NHS held a blood drive at the high school with a goal of 60 units. Poor weather hindered the turn out of the event, but they were still successful with 44 donations made. The drive ran very smoothly with the help of NHS members throughout the day; the members provided the refreshments and assisted when necessary. Your gift will be of great benefit to someone in need.
Along with the NHS blood drive, the group has prepared for the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony that was held on March 27. Each member was assigned a speaking part during the ceremony, or to provide refreshments for afterwards. Being a part of NHS is an honor and privilege; each new chosen member has shown great leadership, citizenship, and overall high academic achievement.
G-R's new NHS members include: Abbie Walton, Callie Kuehl, Cody Ward, Colin Kern, Cortney Crozier, Emily Snider, Erin Wentzien, Kayla Fobian, Madison Corwin, Malinda Shoaf, Paige Kromas, Parker Bolt, Rachel Bown, Sidney Dilly, Taylor Flamme and Emily Dinsdale.
