Brenda Dinsdale presented story time on March 6, with a mail carrier theme. Children attending received coloring books about mail. The next story time will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at 10:00- Julie Grunklee will read Marc Brown stories.

On Wednesday, March 21 the book discussion groups will meet at Westview. The afternoon group will meet from 4:00 to 5:00 and discuss the book Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout. The evening group will meet from 7:00 to 8:00. Their selection is Dry Grass of August by Anna Jean Mayhew. Both groups are open to anyone wanting to read for pleasure and discuss among friends.

New books this week include:

Large print: Roam: a Novel with Music by Alan Lazar that contains sheet music and imbedded web links for songs created by the author and Sunrise on Cedar Key by Terri Dulong. Also Reclaiming Lily by Patti Lacy, purchased with memorial funds for Doris Hayes from Gloria Breakenridge.

Fiction: Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult, The Thief by Clive Cussler, Stand by Me by Neta Jackson and The Dressmaker by Kate Alcott.

Nonfiction: By the Iowa Sea by Joe Blair, Blue Zones by Dan Buettner and Wildlife Heroes by Julie Scardina and Jeff Flocken.

We also have a new children's book, The Berenstain Bears Storybook Treasury.
