Redhawks stop Rebels for eight straight victory

TRAER - Mitchell Boerm had 13 points and six rebounds as North Tama defeated Gladbrook-Reinbeck 51-44 on Saturday in boys' basketball.

The Redhawks jumped out early to take a 32-17 halftime advantage on their way to an eighth consecutive victory and ending G-R's dominance in the series.

Jacob Wrage added 10 points for North Tama. Nolan Hefty had eight points and six rebounds, while Brent Billerbeck, Dalton Hulme and Skyler Kvidera had six points. Kvidera had a team-high seven rebounds and Billerbeck added six boards.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck (9-7) was paced by 15 points from Parker Bolt and 10 from Zach Pierce.
