Cedar Valley Hospice is holding a soup and salad luncheon fundraiser on Saturday, November 19 at the United Methodist Church, located at 707 6th St. in Grundy Center, from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. The event will include a soup and salad luncheon along with the opportunity to shop from a variety of local home based businesses. Some of the vendors include: Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, At Home America, Premier Designs Jewelry, Arbonne International and more, as well as other homemade crafts and baked goods.
In addition to the many vendors, there will also be a silent auction and a raffle for a chance to win a 32" LCD flat screen TV, a Barnes & Noble NOOK eReader and gas cards and gift cards. Raffle tickets are a book of six tickets and are available for purchase at the Cedar Valley Hospice Grundy Center office or at the event. The winner of the raffle will be drawn the day of the event and you need not be present to win. For more information on this event, contact Rhonda Hein, at (319) 824-3868.
All proceeds will help Cedar Valley Hospice provide compassionate end-of-life care to others in our communities with advanced illness or who are grieving the death of a loved one. For more information, visit www.cvhospice.org or call (800) 617-1972.
