Regular blood donations prevent blood shortages

November 5, 2011
Reinbeck Courier

Blood donations are needed in your community in order to guarantee an adequate blood supply is available at your local hospital. Blood donors are encouraged to give blood as often as possible; every eight weeks for whole blood donors and every 16 weeks for double red cell donors. Making multiple donations throughout the year is the best way to ensure that blood is available for hospital patients in need.

Please plan to donate blood at an upcoming blood drive:

Grundy Center Community Blood Drive, Thursday, November 17 from 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM at the Grundy Center Community Center, 705 F Avenue.
