As we wind down the fall sports seasons and plan for the next seasons of activities, remember to mark November 11 on your calendar and plan to attend this year's Miracle on Main extravaganza. From horse drawn trolley rides to soup with friends this event not only kicks off the holiday season, but offers the opportunity to create family memories. Many new activities have been placed on the agenda, including a style show sponsored by The Country Closet and Trevor Schellhorn demonstrating how to home brew beer. Chair massages will NOT be offered this year, but hand reflexology will slip in its place at Indulge. Stop in and try this new experience!
Miracle on Main is an event that celebrates the community from businesses to the memories of loved ones who have passed away. Activities abound for individuals of all ages. Santa will be available, and while the little ones wait there will be the Holiday Express Train with Tim Johnson as conductor and oodles of activities to keep everyone busy before they meet the Big Guy! This will take place at UCC. Thinking food? Not only can you get soup at the Memorial Building, you may encounter individuals strolling the streets offering you cookies to top off the soup, or perhaps you would like to take some treats home.
Some of Reinbeck's finest bakers will have their wares for sale at Bill's Barber Shop. Main Street restaurants will have specials for you as well. Looking for a compliment to your holiday dinner? Four area wineries will be offering wine tasting throughout Main Street. Just want to relax and listen to some music or watch some local talent? Hang out at the bank or the Memorial Building to meet that need. Trees will be displayed at LSB.
The committee has worked hard to create an event that is special. Please support their efforts. You will not be disappointed.
