Rebels head into postseason after downing North Tama

TRAER - Gladbrook-Reinbeck closed outs its volleyball regular season with a straight sets win over host North Tama on Thursday, 25-19, 25-11, 25-18.

Emily Dinsdale finished with 17 kills to lead the Rebels. Jenna Roeding added 10 kills to go with two blocks. Addi Kickbush and Emily Stoakes both had eight kills.

Kickbush added three service aces, while Erin Wentzein had 11 digs. Stoakes set the attack to the tune of 23 assists and Taylor Flamme had 14 assists.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck (18-11) ended a five-match winning streak for the Redhawks (13-15).

Regional play begins next week with North Tama hosting Waterloo Christian on Monday, while G-R squares off with East Marshall on Tuesday in Reinbeck.
