Wilbur C. Hass, 69, Reinbeck, died Oct. 30, services were held on Nov. 2 at the First Presbyterian Church in Reinbeck.
Jake T. Riekena, 85, Maxwell, formerly of Reinbeck, died Oct. 29 with burial in Shiloh Cemetery at Wellsburg.
Lucille V. Henze, 77, Grundy Center, passed away on Oct. 28. Services were held Oct. 31 in the American Lutheran Church in Grundy Center and burial in Rosehill Cemetery at Grundy Center.
Donald E. Fink, 73, Gravois Mills, Mo. died Oct. 25 with burial in Laurie, Mo.
Nancy Witt from Reinbeck has recently been selected by Iowa Protection & Advocacy Services for participation in the Partners in Policy-Making (PIP) Training Program.

Windmill theft cases are growing. Among the unusual things stolen in recent weeks in Grundy & Tama Counties have been three windmills and each of the thefts have authorities "stumped" as a dismantled windmill is very difficult to identify. Thefts have occurred at the Don Billerbeck farm, Miller Copley farm and Don Tomlinson farm south of Dinsdale.
Reinbeck street and traffic control signs were the main target of vandals sometime during the night last Friday & Saturday. Listed among the damaged or destroyed are street name signs and poles, stop signs, children at play signs, no parking-this side signs, a child's wagon, lawns and shrubs. Damage will exceed $300 and possibly run as high as $500.
Mr. & Mrs. Joel Larsen have purchased the Jack Miller home at 206 Clark St. in Reinbeck for $17,000.
Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Reisinger have purchased the Ed Claussen estate home.
Mr. & Mrs. John Calderwood have purchased an acreage south of Morrison from Walter & Connie Miller.
Donald Gurney of Reinbeck, was honored at a Masonic Reception Nov. 14. Gurney is Grand Treasurer of the Grand Lodge of Iowa.
Dorothy Martens and Ann Wieben household sales to be held on Nov. 14.
Mr. & Mrs. Roy Petersen will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Nov. 15 with an open house at the Memorial Bldg.
Arthur H. Dufel, 62, rural Hudson, died Nov. 10 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City of complications following a brain tumor operation.
George M. Strayer, 70, Hudson, died Nov. 6 at Schoitz Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Reinbeck Rams closed the 1981 season with 4-5 season records and 4-3 Big Iowa Conferrence record.
Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Kruger will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Nov. 23. They were married Nov. 23, 1956 at Pleasant Valley Reformed Church in Holland.
