Both what are termed new and seasoned leaders are invited to take part in an eight-session Tama County Leadership Program which begins in October. Jointly sponsored by the Iowa Valley Community College District Continuing Education and the Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce, participants will meet on the second Tuesday of each month beginning on Oct. 11 at the State Bank of Toledo meeting room from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
The program promises to, "enhance your ability to lead while increasing your knowledge and understanding of county-wide issues."
Goals are:
Unite emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Increase participants knowledge and understanding of community issues.
Broaden a collective vision of a better county-wide community.
Tuition for the eight sessions includes on-line resources and a light breakfast at each meeting. Space is limited.
