There was a one vehicle accident on Sunday, September 11, 2011, at 12:00 p.m., at 33498 110th Street, 5 miles southeast of New Hartford.
Driver #1: Tate Johnson, age 9, Dike, was driving a Polaris ATV.
#1 was southbound next to a field in weeds when he lost control of his ATV, which rolled over, killing him instantly.
The accident remains under investigation by the Grundy County Sheriff's Office. Assisting at the scene were New Hartford Fire Dept, New Hartford Ambulance and Butler County Sheriff's Office.
