In observance of National Assisted Living Week, September 11 to 17, Arlington Place Assisted Living Community expresses appreciation for those who have and are currently serving our Country and our Community on our behalf.
"'Forever Proud,' a patriotic theme, was chosen because the first day of National Assisted Living Week begins on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. While we remember the fallen, we also recognize the pride we feel as American citizens and in our community. Forever Proud also addresses one's pride in work done well, family and friends, or a skill mastered. Feeling proud about our citizenship, community participation, friends and families is a universal feeling" said Cathi Burnette, Manager of Arlington Place Assisted Living Community. "This week-long celebration is a demonstration of the commitment assisted living professionals feel when providing care and services to residents in their communities."
To wrap up our week, the staff and residents at Arlington Place invite you to join us for refreshments and "some old fashion square dancing" entertainment at the Grundy Center Community Center on Friday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m.
