The annual Hanisch reunion for descendants of Anton and Theresia Hanisch was held June 26th in the Grundy Center AmericInn Motel hospitality room. There were 18 present from CASCADE: Jim & Joanne Oberbroeckling and Susie Blatz; HAMPTON: Edward & Leola Prause and Janis Theis; DUMONT: Gerry & Jo Craig; ALLISON: Ron & Jan Scally and Ricky & Jacey; MONTOUR: Frances Hempy; REINBECK: Norma Thede; MARSHALLTOWN: Hazel Hauser and Shirley Thomas; GLADBROOK: Merle Frericks and Loran Frericks.
The potluck dinner was enjoyed by all and some later had fun in the swimming pool at the motel. Family history updates are:

Next years reunion will be held again at the AmericInn Motel on the last Sunday of June (24th) 2012 from 1:00-4:00, hosted by the Prause family.
