The run-and-gun style of Gladbrook-Reinbeck was just good enough to outlast East Marshall.
The G-R girls' basketball team completed the regular-season sweep of the Mustangs, outscoring their guests 83-77 in Friday's NICL West Division shootout.
Paige Thompson scored a game-high 23 points to lead Gladbrook-Reinbeck (7-7, 4-5), which ripped the nets for 31 points in the second quarter to take a three-point halftime lead, 46-43.
Lauren Bengen poured in 18 points and Addi Kickbush 16 as the Rebels beat East Marshall (7-7, 4-5) for the second time.
Jenna Roeding added six points and 10 rebounds for the Rebels.
Alyssa Whitmore notched 20 points, Tara Gray had 19 and Katie Roseland added 12 off the bench for the Mustangs, who were denied their fourth straight win.
