Reinbeck Courier

According to the American Massage Therapy Association, massage therapy has been shown to relieve symptoms associated with a variety of conditions. It can assist in reducing pain, promoting relaxation, and improving overall health and wellness. Massage therapy may also be helpful in relieving muscle tension, improving flexibility, and improving circulation. Athletes often use massage therapy to promote recovery and improve sports performance.

Laurie Wallis, Licensed Massage Therapist at GCMH, received her diploma from Carlson College of Massage Therapy. Laurie offers sixty minute and thirty minute massages at Grundy County Memorial Hospital. If you would like to schedule a massage, please contact the GCMH Therapy Department at (319) 824-5421.

For more information about Massage Therapy or any of GCMH's services please call the Hospital at 319-824-5421 or visit www.GrundyCountyHospital.org.
